AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO INCREASE SALARIES FOR THE NEW MEXICO POISON AND DRUG INFORMATION CENTER STATEWIDE PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred twenty-eight thousand dollars ($428,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for salary increases for statewide staff of the New Mexico poison and drug information center of the college of pharmacy. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
