AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A DRUG DEMAND REDUCTION PROGRAM FOR AT-RISK MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of military affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide for a drug demand reduction program through the civil air patrol cadet program for at-risk middle and high school students. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
