AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND THE FAMILY ASSESSMENT INTERVENTION RESOURCES DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAM IN THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--
A. Two hundred three thousand four hundred dollars ($203,400) is appropriated from the general fund to the second judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to fund the family assessment intervention resources domestic violence program for the following purposes in the following amounts:
(1) fifty-one thousand seven hundred seventy-six dollars ($51,776) to provide a salary and benefits for a hearing officer;
(2) forty-five thousand eight hundred ninety-six dollars ($45,896) to provide a salary and benefits for a court psychologist;
(3) forty-nine thousand two hundred twenty-eight dollars ($49,228) to provide a salary and benefits for a judicial specialist;
(4) fifty-four thousand dollars ($54,000) for contractual costs for student interns; and
(5) two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) for assessment instruments.
B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
