AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PERSONNEL FOR AN ADULT MENTAL HEALTH COURT PROGRAM IN THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand seven hundred dollars ($250,700) is appropriated from the general fund to the second judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide salary and benefits for a mental health diversion services supervisor, a family counselor, probation officers, mental health supervised release specialists and a judicial specialist in an adult mental health program in the second judicial district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
