AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE ALLIANCE FOR UNDERREPRESENTED STUDENTS AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred twenty-eight thousand dollars ($328,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to support the alliance for underrepresented students. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
