AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN BERNALILLO AND VALENCIA COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to contract with an international standards organization (ISO) 9000 certified nonprofit organization for the developmentally disabled for services in Bernalillo and Valencia counties to assist persons with disabilities to access their communities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
