AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A TIMBER HARVESTING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM IN MORA, RIO ARRIBA AND TAOS COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to pay the personnel and administrative costs of a timber harvesting and processing economic development program in Mora, Rio Arriba and Taos counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
