AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR DRUG PREVENTION AND ENFORCEMENT EFFORTS IN THE SOUTH VALLEY OF BERNALILLO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of public safety for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for drug prevention and enforcement in the south valley of Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
