AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE STATE HISTORIAN'S FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM FOR RESEARCH AT THE STATE ARCHIVES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for the state historian fellowship program for research at the state archives. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
