    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 749

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1 lines 11 and 12, strike “ESTABLISH THE LEARNING CENTER, A CHARTER SCHOOL”, and insert in lieu thereof “THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT TO ESTABLISH ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMS TO ASSIST YOUTH AT RISK”.

    2. On page 1, lines 18 and 19, strike “the learning center, a charter school”, and insert in lieu thereof “alternative programs to assist youth at risk in Estancia”.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
