AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SURVEY PUBLIC ART CREATED THROUGH THE WORKS PROJECT ADMINISTRATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty-three thousand dollars ($83,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to carry out surveys of the condition of public art created in public buildings statewide as a part of the works project administration. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
