AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE POLITICAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT AT NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico highlands university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for staffing and graduate assistants for the political science department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
