AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A PLANNING GRANT FOR THE COMMUNITY OF EL RITO TO DEVELOP A PLAN FOR WASTEWATER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for a planning grant for the community of El Rito to develop a plan for wastewater, including water from the northern New Mexico state school, an elementary school, a health clinic and the United States forest service complex. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
