AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A NEW MEXICO STATEHOOD CENTENNIAL PROJECT TO PROVIDE DIGITAL AND ON-LINE ACCESS TO TWENTY LAND CLAIMS LEGAL CASE FILES OF LAWYER THOMAS B. CATRON.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Nineteen thousand dollars ($19,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for providing digital and on-line access to twenty land claims legal case files of lawyer Thomas B. Catron as part of the New Mexico statehood centennial. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
