AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred fifty-five thousand dollars ($555,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for the family development program's statewide training outreach program and the family development program's comprehensive training program based on brain development research in the science of early learning. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
