AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CORRECTIONS DEPARTMENT FOR FAMILY VISITATION AND TRANSPORTATION PROGRAMS AND OPERATING FUNDS AT THE WOMEN'S CORRECTIONAL FACILITY AT GRANTS AND THE CAMINO NUEVO FACILITY IN ALBUQUERQUE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. The following amounts are appropriated from the general fund to the corrections department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007:

                (1) seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for family visitation and transportation programs at the women's correctional facility at Grants and the camino nuevo facility in Albuquerque; and

                (2) two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for operating funds for family visitation centers at the women's correctional facility at Grants and the camino nuevo facility in Albuquerque.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
