AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO MARKET NEW MEXICO-GROWN WHEAT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for the New Mexico department of agriculture to market New Mexico-grown wheat internationally and domestically. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
