AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE TO DEVELOP AND OPERATE AN EXPORT MARKETING AND CLEARINGHOUSE PROGRAM FOR NEW MEXICO AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($675,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for the New Mexico department of agriculture to develop and operate an export marketing and clearinghouse program for New Mexico agricultural products. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
