AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN ASSOCIATE STAFF ATTORNEY IN THE FIRST JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred three thousand four hundred dollars ($103,400) is appropriated from the general fund to the first judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide salary and benefits for a full-time associate staff attorney in the first judicial district court. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
