AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY TO JOIN THE RETIREE HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six million seven hundred thousand dollars ($6,700,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to pay the cost of joining the retiree health care authority. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
