AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ESTABLISH A CENTER FOR ISOTOPES IN MEDICINE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven million dollars ($7,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal years 2007 through 2010 to establish a center for isotopes in medicine at the university of New Mexico health sciences center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
