    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 306

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 12, after “GRANTS”; insert “DECLARING AN EMERGENCY”.

    2. On page 1, strike line 18 up to the period and insert in lieu thereof “to provide grants to public schools through an application process for distance learning and cyber academy pilot programs”.

    3. On page 1, between 20 and 21, insert a new section to read:

    “Section 2. EMERGENCY.-–It is necessary for the public peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.”.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
