AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR IN-SCHOOL CLASSROOM CULTURAL ACTIVITIES IN THE WEST LAS VEGAS PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide in-school classroom cultural activities in the west Las Vegas public school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
