AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONDUCT A STUDY OF THE FEASIBILITY OF INCORPORATING THE SOUTH VALLEY OF BERNALILLO COUNTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide a grant-in-aid to the mid-region council of governments to conduct a study to determine the feasibility of incorporating the south valley of Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
