AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR HOMELESS SHELTER SERVICES IN SANTA FE COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred six thousand dollars ($206,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide in Santa Fe county emergency and transitional sheltering services and meals for the homeless and mentally and physically disabled populations. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
