AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING CENTER AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred fifty thousand dollars ($650,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide technical assistance to businesses and entrepreneurs throughout New Mexico by the manufacturing technology and engineering center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
