AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PROGRAMS AT NEW MEXICO BOYS AND GIRLS RANCHES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for programs that aid abused or neglected boys and girls at faith-based boys and girls ranches. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
