AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT FOR PURCHASING EXPERT SERVICES AND INSTRUCTION IN BILINGUAL EDUCATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for purchasing expert services and instruction in bilingual education at west Las Vegas high school in Las Vegas. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
