AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS OF TRIBAL COLLEGES TO SHARE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT, DEVELOP AWARENESS OF POTENTIAL CAREERS AND NETWORK WITH PEERS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the commission on higher education for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to provide opportunities for students of tribal colleges to share academic achievement, develop awareness of potential careers and network with peers. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
