AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A DOCUMENTARY FILM ABOUT THE REPARTIMIENTO TRADITION AMONG NEW MEXICO ACEQUIAS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the center for regional studies to make a film about the repartimiento tradition among New Mexico acequias. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
