Mr. Speaker:

    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 875, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. Strike senate finance committee amendments 3 and 4.

    2. On page 2, line 24, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof:

“, except if the member returns to employment as a peace officer or waste water facility operator, the member must have reached his or her pension maximum under the member’s applicable member coverage plan and must not have been employed as an employee or independent contractor of an affiliated public employer for at least ninety consecutive days from the date of retirement to the commencement of employment or reemployment with an affiliated public employer.”.

    3. On page 3, line 1, after “retirement”, insert the following:

“, or ninety days of retirement for retired members who have reached their pension maximum under the retired member’s applicable member coverage plan and who returns to employment as a peace officer or a water or waste water facility operator.”.
