AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE STATISTICIAN AND DEMOGRAPHER SERVICES FOR A NAVAJO VETERANS DATABASE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred one thousand two hundred fourteen dollars ($101,214) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to provide statistician and demographer services needed in New Mexico to establish a database for Navajo veterans. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
