AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT OF NAVAJO VETERANS AFFAIRS TO OBTAIN ARCHAEOLOGICAL CLEARANCES AND SURVEYS FOR HOMESITES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty-six thousand five hundred dollars ($86,500) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to assist the department of Navajo veterans affairs to obtain archaeological clearances and surveys for homesites for indigent veterans in New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
