SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ toSENATE EDUCATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 677, as amended

    1. Strike Senate Education Committee Amendments 3 and 4.

    2. On page 8, strike lines 14 and 15 in their entirety and strike line 16 through "two" and insert in lieu thereof:

"the university of New Mexico, one of whom shall represent New Mexico state university, one of whom shall represent New Mexico institute of mining and technology and one of whom shall represent either New Mexico highlands university, eastern New Mexico university or western New Mexico university; three".

    3. On page 9, line 5, strike the first occurrence of "Members" and insert in lieu thereof:

"Four members of the initial board, including the student member, shall be appointed for two years, four members shall be appointed for three years and four members shall be appointed for four years; thereafter, the student member shall serve a two-year term and the other members".
