    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 669

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 12, after "FUNDS", strike the remainder of the line and on line 13 strike "APPROPRIATION".

    2. On page 1, line 25, strike "and" and after line 25, insert the following new subsection:

         "B. "returning adult" means a student enrolling in a public post-secondary educational institution at any time later than the first semester following high school graduation or the award of a general educational development certificate; and".

    3. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.

    4. On page 3, line 2, after "on", insert "a" and after "need" insert "formula calculated".

    5. On page 5, lines 11 through 24, strike Section 9 in its entirety.
