    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 657, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 14, after the semicolon insert "REQUIRING THE LABOR DEPARTMENT TO ADMINISTER AND ENFORCE THE STANDARDS;".

     2. On page 1, line 19, after the period strike the remainder of the line, strike line 20 in its entirety and on line 21, strike ""[NEW MATERIAL]".

     3. On page 3, between lines 22 and 23, insert the following new subsection:

          "B. The labor department shall administer and enforce the provisions of Subsection A of this section, including coordination with the construction industries division of the regulation and licensing department.".

     4. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

     5. On page 4, line 12, strike "B" and insert in lieu thereof "C" and after "the" insert "construction industries".

     6. On page 4, line 14, strike "by the division to that contractor"" and insert in lieu thereof "to that contractor by the construction industries division of the regulation and licensing department".
