AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR INSTRUCTION AND GENERAL PURPOSES FOR THE TAOS BRANCH OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for instruction and general purposes for the Taos branch campus. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
