AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR STAFF AND OPERATING EXPENSES FOR THE OFFICE OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL STUDIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for salaries, personnel and operating expenses for the office of archaeological studies in the museum of New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
