    Your CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 450

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 13, after "STATES" insert "OR THEIR SPOUSES".

    2. On page 1, line 19, after "pension" insert "is exempt from state income tax if the pension is".

    3. On page 1, line 19, after "by" insert a colon and a new paragraph designation "(1)".

    4. On page 1, line 22, strike "is exempt", strike line 23 through "tax" and insert in lieu thereof "; or" and the following new paragraph to read:

             "(2) the spouse of a person who has been honorably discharged from membership in the armed forces of the United States and has served in the armed forces of the United States continuously for ninety days".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
