    Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILLS 297 AND 341

has had them under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 12, after the semicolon, strike the remainder of the line, strike line 13 in its entirety and strike line 14 through the semicolon.

     2. On page 1, strike lines 17 through 25 in their entirety and on page 2, strike lines 1 through 16 in their entirety.

     3. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.

     4. On page 2, line 21, strike the brackets and line through "is of good moral character" and after "character" insert a comma.

     5. On page 3, line 14, strike the brackets and line through "a person of good moral character and is".

     6. On page 5, line 21, strike the bracket and line through "(2) is of good moral character;".

     7. On page 5, line 22, strike the bracket and line through "(3)" and strike "(2)".

     8. Renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.

     9. On page 19, strike lines 2 through 17 and renumber the succeeding section accordingly.,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
