AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PERSONNEL FOR AN ADULT MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM IN THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. The following amounts are appropriated from the general fund to the second judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for personnel for an adult mental health program in the second judicial district court:

                (1) seventy-one thousand one hundred dollars ($71,100) to provide a salary and benefits for a program director;

                (2) eighty-six thousand six hundred dollars ($86,600) to provide a salary and benefits for a court psychologist;

                (3) fifty-six thousand eight hundred dollars ($56,800) to provide a salary and benefits for a background investigator;

                (4) two hundred twenty-seven thousand dollars ($227,000) to provide salaries and benefits for mental health diversion specialists; and

                (5) forty-one thousand six hundred dollars ($41,600) to provide a salary and benefits for a judicial specialist.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
