AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS IN POJOAQUE VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN PREVENTION AND INTERVENTION STRATEGIES FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND CHILD ABUSE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to provide training for Pojoaque Valley public school teachers in prevention and intervention strategies for substance abuse and child abuse. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
