AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A STATEWIDE ARTS CONFERENCE AND REGIONAL WORKSHOPS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal years 2005 and 2006 to conduct a statewide arts conference and regional workshops in rural areas for training and development in arts marketing and fundraising. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
