SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 610

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Gay G. Kernan

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN LOVINGTON IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state agency on aging

one hundred twenty-seven thousand five hundred dollars ($127,500) to replace the roof and flooring at the Billy McKibben senior center in Lovington in Lea county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

eighty-five thousand dollars ($85,000) for replacing the roof and the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system at the Troy J. Harris city center in Lovington in Lea county;

one hundred forty-seven thousand dollars ($147,000) to replace the roof, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, and the flooring at the youth center in Lovington in Lea county; and

seventy-four thousand five hundred dollars ($74,500) to purchase a backhoe for the municipal water department in Lovington in Lea county.
