SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 602

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Gay G. Kernan

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN TATUM IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for phase 1 of water line and meter replacement in Tatum in Lea county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for phase 2 of water line and meter replacement in Tatum in Lea county; and

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for sewer system improvements in Tatum in Lea county;

• to the department of transportation

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for repairing, repaving and related street improvements in Tatum in Lea county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to make improvements to a building for the relocation of a judge's office in Tatum in Lea county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to construct an ambulance bay in Tatum in Lea county; and

thirty-six thousand two hundred dollars ($36,200) for improvements to the senior center, including repairing a heater and paving the back parking lot, in Tatum in Lea county.
