SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 597

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Gay G. Kernan

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN TEXICO IN CURRY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to construct offices and a training room for the Texico volunteer fire department in Curry county; and

• to the public education department

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) to upgrade the auditorium and replace the stage curtains and carpet in the Texico municipal school district in Curry county.
