46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Pauline J. Ponce

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE ROSWELL BRANCH OF EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY IN CHAVES COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university

four million eight hundred fifty thousand dollars ($4,850,000) to renovate an existing building and plan, design, construct, equip and furnish an addition to the health sciences center at the Roswell branch of eastern New Mexico university in Chaves county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to purchase and install technology equipment for the media industry program at the Roswell campus of eastern New Mexico university in Chaves county;

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) to purchase an activity bus for the program for students with special needs at the Roswell branch of eastern New Mexico university in Chaves county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to renovate classrooms and purchase and install new seating at the Roswell campus of eastern New Mexico university in Chaves county; and

sixty-seven thousand dollars ($67,000) for computer technology and infrastructure at the Roswell campus of eastern New Mexico university in Chaves county.
