AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR A STUDY TO DEVELOP A SYSTEM WITHIN THE MID REGION COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS REGION FOR PROVIDING TRANSPORTATION SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of transportation for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 for a study to develop a coordinated system within the mid region council of governments region for providing specialized transportation services funded by public dollars. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
