AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTINUE A BLACK TAR HEROIN PREVENTION PROGRAM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to continue a federally initiated black tar heroin prevention program in Rio Arriba, Santa Fe and Taos counties, including the eight northern Indian pueblos. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of the fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
