SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ to SENATE BILL 34, as amended

Amendment sponsored by Senator Ben D. Altamirano

1. Strike Senate Finance Committee Amendment 4.

2. On page 4, line 21, after "service" strike the comma and insert in lieu thereof "and" and strike "and compensation".

3. On page 6, strike line 25 in its entirety.

4. Renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.

5. On page 7, between lines 7 and 8, insert the following new paragraph and subsection to read:

"(6) issuance of bonds.

B. Only an elected official shall be able to vote on resolutions regarding Paragraphs (2) and (6) of Subsection A of this section.".

6. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

7. On page 20, strike lines 6 through 9 in their entirety.

8. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.
